So, you may be wondering what Skruben is. When I was growing up on our ranch in North Idaho, my family often spoke of a fabled creature named Skruben whenever anything mischievous or unexplained happened. He was apparently a multi-tasker and was involved in a wide variety of activities, based on the things he was blamed for. Skruben's interests could not be pinned down. One day he was absconding with a pair of shoes and the next he was creating great artwork on the furniture or making strange noises in the night. Skruben had his hands in a dizzying array of activities and always kept us guessing...
